Mode 1. Direct charge protection point voltage

Direct charge protection point voltage is generally "overcharge protection point" voltage, charging battery terminal voltage cannot be higher than this protection point, otherwise it will cause overcharge, damage to the battery.

Mode 2. Voltage of equalized charge control point:

After the direct charge is complete, the battery is generally left for a period of time by the charge and discharge controller to let its voltage drop naturally. When the voltage drops to the "Recovery voltage" value, the battery enters the equalized charge state. Equalized charging, or "balanced charging." The equalized charging time should not be too long, generally a few minutes to ten minutes, too long time is harmful. For small systems equipped with one or two batteries, equalization is of little significance. So. Solar street lamp controller generally does not set uniform charge, only two stages.

Mode 3. Voltage of floating charge control point:

Generally, after all charges are completed, the battery is also placed for a period of time to make its terminal voltage drop naturally. When it falls to the maintenance voltage "point, it enters the floating charge state. Similar to small current charging, battery voltage is low on the charge of a point, a low charge on a point, a stream to avoid the battery temperature continues to rise, which is very good for the battery.

Mode 4. Overdischarge protection termination voltage:

The battery discharge should not be lower than the national standard. Although battery manufacturers also have their own protection parameters, but ultimately close to the NATIONAL standard.

For the sake of safety, the general 12V battery overdischarge protection point voltage artificially plus 0.3V as temperature compensation or control circuit zero drift correction, so 12V battery overdischarge protection point voltage is: 11.10V, then the 24V system overdischarge protection point voltage is 22.20V.
